A mother and child enjoy making ceramic tiles together at the HOH Family Festival.

It’s been five years since we began our Annual Fund Drive for Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. We’ve enjoyed a tremendous response from the community over those years, raising more than half a million dollars in total—funds that have supported myriad exhibitions, over 30 resident artists, and hands-on arts experiences for thousands of families. That support has helped us to remain free to the public and realize our mission to advance education on the process, product, and history of craft for visitors from the greater Houston region and beyond.

This critical funding not only made our mission possible but increased our impact on the community. Over the last three years, we have introduced drop-in Spring Break activities for children and families and added a beehive to our roof, benefiting the flowers, plants, and trees of both our Craft Garden and the surrounding neighborhood. This year, the Center will unveil an expanded exhibition schedule, with increased events and activities, while making building upgrades to improve accessibility for our visitors.

When you support the Annual Fund Drive, you reinforce our commitment to provide free arts education to the public. Your gift ensures that we continue to expand our reach to diverse audiences and provide broad access to unique and innovative arts programs in the years to come.

We’ve worked hard to create an organization where everyone—visitors, artists, or students—can connect to the arts in their own ways. Yet none of this happens without the confidence and support of people like you. We sincerely hope that you share in that confidence and demonstrate it with a gift to our 2019 Annual Fund Drive.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

With Kind Regards,
