As summer approaches, as well as the end of our fiscal year, we celebrate the heightened activity and interaction with close friends that the last year has allowed. We are also filled with excitement as we prepare to welcome our new executive director, Leila Cartier, who begins her role in mid-July.
For more than 20 years, HCCC has brought its mission to advance education on the process, product, and history of craft into the hearts and homes of Houston and beyond. We look forward to offering our innovative mix of exhibitions, artist residencies, and educational programs free to the public for years to come.
We are in the final weeks of our 2022-2023 Annual Fund Drive. Would you please consider a gift today to help us reach our remaining goal of $18,000? Your contribution makes everything we do possible, from our summer exhibitions—featuring vibrant ceramics and electroluminescent lace creations—to our newest group of resident artists, Summer Craft Camp scholarships, and monthly Hands-on Houston events, which provide free art-making experiences to a diverse audience of more than 2,000 children and adults each year.
Without our community of generous individuals like you, our work could not be accomplished. Whether you have visited our galleries and residents’ studios, attended our recent Crafting a Legacy Spring Luncheon, or participated in a workshop or family activity, our team at HCCC is deeply grateful. Your gift to the Annual Fund Drive by June 30th promises that we will continue to offer our wide variety of ground-breaking exhibitions and educational programming, while remaining free and accessible for all.
Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration.
