Houston Center for Contemporary Craft: CraftTexas 2012

November 15, 2012

We check out the biggest show of the year at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. The 2012 edition of CraftTexas features works by 40 artists from around the Lone Star State, ranging from a large-scale installation of crocheted linen and latex paint to a set of glass sculptures that mimic well-used cast-iron cookware.

Juror Jean McLaughlin, executive director of the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, and prize-winning artist Steve Hilton, talk with Bob Stevenson.
