Annual Sponsorship Opportunities

Signature Biennial Exhibitions: Lead Sponsor for One Exhibition: $75,000
Highlighting the best of Texas contemporary craft, the juried CraftTexas exhibition delights with the variety of materials to the diversity of selected artists. The Texas Masters Series showcases an established career artist who has made significant contributions to the field. The award goes to a Texas artist and includes a solo exhibition, documentation of their work, promotion and a spot on the next CraftTexas jury. Recognition for the Lead Sponsor of either of these signature shows includes electronic communications, print and press. Other packages may be arranged.

Artist Residency Program: Naming Rights to One Studio: $25,000 Annually
Only at HCCC do visitors see the creative process up close in a uniquely Houston setting. The nationally competitive Artist Residency Program brings craft artists from all over the country to work in studios open to the public. Studio sponsorship provides space, materials, overhead, and career development for one studio for 12 months. Recognition includes your name outside an artist studio for 12 months.

Hands-On Houston: $10,000 Annually
Earn a warm place in the hearts and minds of local families and visitors by supporting this free craft-making activity for all ages on the first Saturday of each month. HCCC reaches some of Houston’s most diverse audiences, while relating the art project to a particular technique, shape or object on view in the exhibition galleries. Recognition includes electronic and print media and event signage.

Tending the Craft Garden: $5,000 Annually
Already unique among national institutions focused on craft, HCCC’s special green space is truly one of a kind. The Craft Garden, a favorite stop for school and tour groups, is a place where students can make the connection between the clothing they wear and botanical source materials, such as cotton and indigo. Your annual gift keeps the garden looking fresh by maintaining healthy plants and grounds.
