Get crafty with the kids at
Hands-On Houston

June 4, 2014

Get your hands dirty at Hands-On Houston at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft on the first Saturday of every month. On the first Saturday of each month, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft hosts Hands-On Houston. It’s free and open to the public. Stop by anytime between 11am and 3pm. The craft changes each month but always includes materials, work space and instruction. All ages are welcome and the kids love it. Sometimes they make wooden cars, wire bracelets or beaded key chains.

For June, the craft is mini felted soap. Don’t know what felted soap is? You can find out on June 7, 2014! You will get a bar of soap and brightly colored raw wool. With this, you can make your own scrubby!
