THE SEEN:
Martini Madness! Bossa Nova Bash

January 23, 2015

Bottoms up! At the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, guest bedecked in midcentury and Brazilian attire imbibed Deep Eddy Vodka lemon drops and cosmos in custom artisan-crafted martini glasses. The gorgeous glasses double as gifts, as guests got to take them home at evening’s end.

For the seventh year of this lively HCCC benefit, chairs Paula Arnold & Ted Pinson opted for a Brazilian theme, featuring live bossa nova and samba music from Charlie Perez and his band. The digital photo booth from Photobomb, complete with fedoras, leis, pink flamingos and other props, proved popular with revelers. Guests were abuzz about popular big board auction items, including artwork by former HCCC resident artists, artistic jewelry, and a week’s stay at Santa Fe Casita Ranch in the Hill Country.
