Make and donate bowls to help feed the hungry in our community!

The Empty Bowls Houston Steering Committee invites artists working in all media to help celebrate the organization’s 12th year by creating and donating handmade bowls for Empty Bowls Houston 2016, taking place May 14 at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft.

Last year, more than 2,000 bowls in clay, wood, fiber, glass, metal and other media were donated by local artists from colleges, K-12 schools and group or individual studios. Empty Bowls asks for your time, talent and generosity to help them match that incredible number this year!

To add your name and/or the name of your school or artists guild to the list of donors, contact: Renee LeBlanc at Mudgirl101@gmail.com.
To volunteer for the event, contact: Samantha Oldham at Sam.L.Oldham@gmail.com.

Bowls may be dropped off May 1 – 12, 2016 at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, 4848 Main Street (Tuesday through Sunday), or the Ceramic Store, 1002 W. 11th Street (Monday through Saturday).
