Are you missing our resident artists? We’re excited to launch Studio Sessions, a new virtual series of live, informal studio visits featuring an HCCC resident artist joined in conversation by our curatorial fellow, María-Elisa Heg.

For our first Session, we’ll feature current resident, Abi Ogle, a fiber and installation artist who uses recognizable materials like discarded clothing, found objects, or human hair to transform something familiar and give it new life. Tune into our Facebook Live page promptly at 6:00 PM to learn more about Abi’s practice and influences and watch a special demonstration in her studio space. The event will also feature an audience Q&A session, so be sure to chime in with your questions via the chat function, or send them in advance to mheg@crafthouston.org by 12 PM, August 6th.
