Leila Cartier Named One of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2025

March 21, 2026

Congrats to our executive director, Leila Cartier, who has been named one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2025” by Houston Woman Magazine!

Each of the honorees was nominated for inclusion in the “50 Women of Influence” list by a reader of Houston Woman Magazine and then selected by the staff of the publication. Leila’s fellow honorees are an outstanding group of women leaders from nearly every industry- including healthcare and medicine, energy, finance, education, nonprofits, and the arts. This distinguished group of women were celebrated at the magazine’s annual gala last week, where Houston Mayor John Whitmire joined the honorees on stage to present recognition awards.
