Craft Social May 2017

Join Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for Craft Social, a night of making and exploring contemporary craft over conversation and refreshments.

This month, we investigate the Craft Garden, which highlights craft processes from planting to the production of materials. Make your own concrete planter for a succulent using recycled materials as a mold, and design a print using handmade stamps of the plants and flowers currently in bloom in the Craft Garden.

At 6:30 PM, learn about the history of plant healing in Texas from a presentation by University of Houston History Professor, Dr. Mark A. Goldberg.
