Create your own fused glass ornament or suncatcher with glass artist Eric DePan from Houston House of Glass.  Inspired by our current exhibition, Disclosure: The Whiteness of Glass, the workshop explores the basics of fused-glass techniques as well as how to safely cut and work with glass. Discuss color combinations and designs as you layer your piece. Each student will select a design for their project, choose from a variety of glass colors and types, score and cut their glass, and assemble their pattern to create either an ornament or sun-catcher in this two-hour class.

Please note that all projects must be fired in the kiln and will be ready to be picked up after July 26, 2024.

The workshop takes place in person and inside the HCCC building. Space is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.
