Join HCCC Curator Kathryn Hall and ceramicist Anna Mayer for a special tour of Forms of Inheritance: The Work of Anna Mayer. Kathryn and Anna will discuss some of the central themes of the exhibition, such as mourning rituals and the larger impact that humans have on the environment, with specific attention paid to the effects of petromodernity, as petroleum provides modern conveniences. Following the exhibition tour, the audience is invited to participate in a live Q & A.

Craft Chats is a series of short lunchtime conversations with our staff and special guests. From wherever you are, we invite you to tune into our Facebook Live page to explore themes and works from our current exhibitions. Ask questions via the Facebook chat function, and learn more about the exhibiting artists. This brief deep dive will leave you feeling inspired and ready to continue your day!
