True Words is an exhibition of wood sculpture reliefs from True Word Art Studio, a place where a small group of deaf and mute artists live and work together near the northeast coast of China. In this remote province, they have created a variety of chiseling techniques and texturing strokes so rich and mature in vocabulary that they could write a dictionary of woodcarving techniques.
