We would be grateful if you would make an annual fund gift of any size to help us achieve our goal. Your partnership allows us to thrive in an environment of rising costs and keep contemporary craft accessible to all. In addition to your tax-deductible donation of cash, we are able to accept gifts of stocks and securities.

June, 2025
For all of us at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, it has truly been an exceptional year! Our packed calendar of programming after a full recovery from Hurricane Beryl last July demonstrates HCCC’s resilience, creativity, and the dedication of this community.
Throughout 2024/25, our board, staff, artists, and community members remained laser focused on drafting a strategic plan that will propel us forward and guide our next three years. We are proud that our vision and guiding principles reflect the collective aspirations and enthusiasm of us all. We invite you to review the new strategic plan here, and we welcome your comments and questions.
At the heart of this plan is a deep commitment to contemporary craft. We envision artists and making at the forefront of cultural production and part of meaningful, cross-sector partnerships. Also listed as essential among our priorities is ensuring our facilities and infrastructure are protected during any future challenge. We hope you will spend time evaluating these goals and see yourself as part of the initiatives that will guide us in the coming years.
HCCC is now in the final weeks of our 2024-2025 Annual Fund Drive. Through the generosity of our faithful contributors, we have already raised 85% of our $115,000 goal! Please consider making a gift by June 30th and be part of HCCC’s success. Your annual fund dollars allow us to stay admission free as well as directly contribute to our exhibitions, resident artists, monthly Hands-on Houston events, and the work of our visionary staff.
If you have recently visited our galleries and studios, attended our inspiring annual Crafting a Legacy Spring Luncheon, or participated in a workshop or family activity, you know how deeply grateful the team at HCCC is to have your involvement.
With sincere appreciation for your continued support and dedication,
Judy Nyquist Leila Cartier
Board President Executive Director
