If you have ever been to Houston’s Empty Bowls event at HCCC, you know what an inspiring event it is–2,000 beautiful handmade bowls created by students and artists from our Houston community; demonstrations in pottery, woodturning, felting, and polymer clay; entertaining music; delicious soups and breads from presenting sponsor Whole Foods Market; and a frenzy of people sorting and selecting their bowls to gift others and themselves.

Paula Arnold and Theo Pinson, along with Sara and Bill Morgan, invite you to the Empty Bowls Preview Party on Friday, May 13, 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Be among the first to pick out the best of bowls from $25 and up, and enjoy some light bites from Whole Foods, beer from Silver Eagle Distributing, wine and water, and craft camaraderie. Casual attire, space is limited.

  • Preview Party Tickets are $50
  • Individual bowls start at $25

Proceeds from ticket sales benefit both the Houston Food Bank and the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Proceeds from all bowl sales benefit the Houston Food Bank, which can turn a $25 soup bowl into 75 nutritious meals. We hope you can join us in helping us fill the empty bowls of those in our community in need. If you cannot attend the Preview Party, remember the event is the next day, on Saturday, May 14, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
