Please join Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and event chairs, Kara and Ulises Vidal, for Martini Madness!  September 15th marks the return of the popular cocktail fundraiser, celebrating the best of mid-century style and benefitting Houston Center for Contemporary Craft.

This year’s party features a Manhattan twist, and guests are encouraged to participate in the theme by donning their best Big Apple attire to win a prize in the costume contest. Attendees can celebrate the “city that never sleeps” by getting creative with their favorite looks inspired by iconic NYC people, places, and events throughout the ages (e.g., Broadway musicals, gangsters, Studio 54, Warhol’s Factory, punk, Woody Allen movies, “Mad Men,” etc.).

Guests to the event will take home a handmade martini glass; sip on signature martinis and Manhattans; nosh New York-inspired fare from Greenhouse Catering; groove to jazz, lounge, and dance tunes by DJ Flash Gordon Parks; see live letterpress printing by The Printing Museum; pose in the photo booth; and much more!

For the first time, HCCC will offer a late-night ticket at a lower price. The late portion of the party takes place 9:00 – 11:00 PM and includes dancing, cocktails, light bites, photo booth, and more. While this ticket does not include an artisan martini glass, a selection of glasses will be available for sale.

A portion of all ticket sales between now and September 15 will be donated to the Houston Food Bank and Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) to support Texas artists affected by Hurricane Harvey.
