Join HCCC to explore tablescapes, and learn how to style the perfect table for your next dinner party or Instagram post at the spring Craft Social event.

Inspired by the current exhibitions, Tom Loeser: Please Please Please and To Be Of Use: The Functional Ceramics Of Mike Helke, Ayumi Horie, And East Fork, the evening will explore how contemporary craft artists are challenging audiences to reconsider everyday objects, most notably, the chair and diningware.

Using a variety of found objects, construct your own vessel, such as a candlestick holder, a vase, or a trinket bowl. Then, use your vessel, and learn how to style an Instagram-worthy tablescape with artist and designer Lisa Chow. Learn the basics of food and table styling with Lisa, including tips on taking great photos. Experiment with different objects, backgrounds, and arrangements to create a picture-perfect table.
