Annual FUnd

Annual Fund

We would be grateful if you would make an annual fund gift of any size to help us achieve our goal. Your partnership allows us to thrive in an environment of rising costs and keep contemporary craft accessible to all. In addition to your tax-deductible donation of cash, we are able to accept gifts of stocks and securities.

President's
Letter

October, 2025

Looking back, we are confident 2025 will stand out as one of the most significant years in Houston Center for Contemporary Craft’s history. Our board of directors ratified a new strategic framework that will guide our programs and operations for years to come. Together, we will:

  • Amplify HCCC’s Impact through storytelling and partnerships
  • Lead the Field as one of the few craft organizations in the nation
  • Diversify Finances to provide greater support for programs
  • and Build the Future to ensure HCCC’s campus supports our growth and sustainability

Looking forward, we are inspired by the transformative projects and opportunities planned for 2026.

Thanks to your generosity, the Craft Center surpassed $2 million in contributions—an extraordinary achievement that speaks to your belief in our vision and purpose. Your support shapes the careers of artists, underwrites rigorous studio practices, sponsors vibrant community events, and funds imaginative hands-on activities that bring Houstonians together. The impact of your involvement is seen throughout our 24/25 Annual Report. Thank you!

We hope you will contribute to this year’s Annual Fund goal of $115,000. Your support will help us sustain free admission for the public and strengthen our programming and strategic efforts.

There is so much to be excited about at HCCC. Come visit us and ask about current and future projects. We want you to be involved in all we do and are grateful to have your trusted annual support for our work in contemporary craft!

Sincerely,

Bob Schwartz         Leila Cartier
