Join HCCC for a closing celebration of CraftTexas 2025, and experience the exhibition in motion with special activations by two exhibiting artists!

Fashion designer and sculptor René Garza will present a performance activation of his monumental sculptural installation, Lucid Shadow (2024), exploring the intersection of material, movement, and form. Fiber artist Cassie Arnold will host a participatory “Stitch ’n Bitch” gathering and perform with her monumental, oversized knitting needles. The public is invited to bring their own materials or projects, or to simply watch as the artist transforms the act of making into a lively, collective experience.
