Celebrate the opening of The Candle Show at Asher: Off the Wall with a special drop-in candle-making event! Museum visitors and shoppers are invited to hand dip their own set of two taper candles, exploring the slow, rhythmic process of building form through layers of molten wax. This hands-on activity is ideal for adults (or kids with help from an adult) and offers a tactile entry point into the material language of this celebratory retail exhibition, where flame, vessel, and ritual converge!

Find inspiration from our curated selection of candleholders and candelabras by renowned craft artists such as Gabo Martinez and Angel Oloshove, and leave with the perfect holder for your hand-dipped tapers!

This first-come, first-serve activity is free with a $25+ purchase from Asher: Off the Wall (or a $25 fee), while supplies last.

HCCC members save 10% on retail, exhibition, and studio sales (some exclusions apply) throughout the year. However, in celebration of our Silver Anniversary, HCCC members are invited to enjoy 25% off one retail purchase at Asher: Off the Wall, September 19 – 30, 2026. Take advantage of this exclusive perk and become a member today!
