Innovation on display at UNIT exhibit + In Residence at HCCC

July 31, 2013

Perhaps you’ve caught them at work in their studios at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft over the past year or so. Now you can see what they’ve accomplished.

The center’s annual “In Residence” exhibit opens Friday, featuring new works by jewelry designers Tarina Frank and Robert Thomas Mullen, metalsmith Jaydan Moore, ceramists Chanda Glendinning and Jessica Kreutter, fiber artists Susan Fletcher King and Rachelle Vasquez and sculptor Susannah Mira. (Yes, she’s the same Mira who also has work on view at UNIT. She’s been busy.)

Meet the artists at the opening reception at 5:30 p.m. Friday. On view through Sept. 29 in the Artist Hall at 4848 Main, 713-529-4848, crafthouston.org. Free admission.
