Join HCCC for a chain-making workshop inspired by our summer exhibition, Tiff Massey: A Different World. Former resident artist and HCCC staff member Tarina Frank will lead an introductory workshop exploring simple chain-making processes. Learn how to make your own jump rings from copper wire, and assemble them using pliers into a wearable chain bracelet. From basic chain links to a foxtail chain or idiot’s delight, discover how to assemble the links to make a variety of styles.
No experience necessary. Supplies will be provided. Pre-registration for this workshop is required. Registration fee is $75 for HCCC members and $90 for non-members and includes instructor, materials, and administration fees. Participants will leave with completed chain bracelet. The class is for adults only (age 18 and over) and requires a minimum of 12 participants to hold.

Cancellation Policy
Workshops are subject to cancellation or change due to low enrollment. Registrants will be notified seven (7) days in advance if the workshop is cancelled by HCCC. If registrants need to cancel their reservation, they must do so at least 14 days in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to workshop date. To cancel your registration, email HCCC at education@crafthouston.org, so that someone on the waiting list can attend the workshop.
