Contemporary Handweavers of Houston (CHH) is pleased to present its 28th Annual Sale, The Artisan’s Market, featuring unique hand-crafted works at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. Works for sale include hand-woven, hand-spun, hand-dyed, and hand-felted linens, garments and accessories, tapestries, rugs, baskets, jewelry, baby items, toys, and holiday decorations. All items are made by CHH guild members—many of whom are nationally and internationally recognized fiber artists and teachers—and are made from fine materials such as silk, wool, cotton, bamboo, wire, and willow. Styles range from edgy and funky to elegant and traditional. An opening reception and preview sale will be held Thursday evening, and weaving, spinning, and various other fiber arts will be demonstrated by CHH members throughout the event.
