Led by current resident artist Zoe Gross, this two-session workshop (February 16 and 23) covers hand-building techniques to create a textured clay mug. On the first Saturday of the workshop, get your hands dirty, as you discover how to use slabs of clay to build your mug. Practice your basic building and joining skills to add a handle, and experiment with various textures and decorative techniques to enhance the surface of your object.

Return Saturday, February 23, to add color to your mug using underglaze. Mugs will be fired in a kiln and ready for pick up after March 9th.

Workshop takes place on two Saturdays:
February 16 & February 23, 2019
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
