Join HCCC for a fun afternoon of family-friendly zine making by learning to create your very own simple booklet!

Check out the fall exhibition, Copy Culture: Zines Made and Shared, and learn collage-based zine techniques from collage artist and zinester, Anastasia Kirages, who will be demonstrating in the gallery workspace. When you’re done, don’t forget to make a copy of your zine to share with friends!

Note: This event is subject to cancellation in response to current COVID-19 conditions. The demo takes place in person and inside the HCCC building. All participants must wear a mask while inside the HCCC building and practice social distancing during the event.

About Anastasia Kirages
Anastasia “Stacy” Kirages is a Houston-based zinester, collage artist, and community organizer for Zine Fest Houston (ZFH). Currently, she is working toward her M.Ed in Reading Education at Texas Woman’s University. She received a BA in art history from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as certificates from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice and the University of Houston’s SURE™ Program, in Arts & Cultural Strategy and Entrepreneurship, respectively.
