Join Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for Craft Social, a night of making and exploring contemporary craft over conversation and refreshments.
This month, explore the art of installation, and learn practical tips and techniques to incorporate into your own collection at home! Up your framing game by learning how to “float” a work of art on a mat board in just a few steps from the experts at Art Supply on Main. Bring your own print or artwork on paper (no larger than 5” x 7”) or create one at the event using simple printing processes.
At 6:30 PM, in the Front Gallery, join HCCC curator Kathryn Hall for a behind-the-scenes look at the installation process and learn how HCCC plans and installs exhibitions.
