Join Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for Craft Social, a night of making and exploring contemporary craft over conversation and refreshments.

This month, we’re inspired by the constellations and mythological references on view in the current exhibition, Edward Eberle Retrospective. Uncover the secrets of zodiac signs with astrologer Maurielle Balczon, from SignPaths. Using the date, exact time, and location of your birth, learn how to interpret your birth chart. Explore your horoscope with friends through a selection of astrological publications, and embroider a tea towel inspired by the stars!

Craft Social takes place on the third Thursday evening of each month and is a fun way for adults to explore contemporary craft through other disciplines and media.  These casual, social events emphasize experimentation, curiosity, and innovation. Visitors are encouraged to drop by and participate. All events are free and on a first-come first-served basis. Capacity is limited.

Craft beer is generously provided by Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co.
Materials are sponsored by Art Supply on Main Street.
