#HeartsForArt is back! Spend Valentine’s Day weekend exploring the works currently on view at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and show off your love for art and contemporary craft. Join HCCC and other museums across the country to spread the love.

From February 11–February 14, you’re invited to show your love for a favorite work of art by placing a paper heart on the floor in front of your artwork crush.

  • Step 1: Pick up a single heart in the main gallery, and hold it close until you’re ready…
  • Step 2: Fall in love with a piece of art, and make it official by placing your heart ON THE FLOOR in front of a work of art you love.
  • Step 3: Snap a photo of your heart placed next to your artwork crush, and post it to your favorite social media site, tagged with #CraftHouston and #heartsforart. We’ll share some of our favorites!

Spread the love, explore, and enjoy your visit!

Did you know? The #HeartsforArt project was initiated four years ago by the Oakland Museum of California and Columbus Museum of Art. Check out last year’s blog post to learn more!
