Join metalsmith and former HCCC resident artist René Henry to create your own stack of sterling-silver rings!

Participants will learn fundamental metalsmithing techniques to transform silver wire into a finished set of rings. Techniques will include proper butane torch handling, determining ring size, adding texture, and soldering. Participants will leave the workshop with a set of three rings to add dazzle to any outfit!

This workshop is beginner friendly; no prior metalsmithing experience is required.

This class is for adults aged 18+. No experience is necessary. Pre-registration is required and includes instructor, basic materials, tools and administration fees. Registration closes on Thursday November 12th at 8:00 AM.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Workshops are subject to cancellation or change due to low enrollment. Registrants will be notified seven (7) days in advance if the workshop is canceled by HCCC. If registrants need to cancel their registration, they must do so at least 14 days in advance to receive a full refund. No refunds will be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the workshop date. To cancel your registration, email HCCC at education@crafthouston.org, so that someone on the waiting list can attend the workshop.
