Join HCCC to create a contemporary piece of jewelry, and explore new ideas about the function of jewelry through discussion and making.
Learn how jewelry has been used historically, in a variety of cultures, to imply wealth and status, and challenge these ideas through material exploration and play. Create a wearable piece of jewelry from a variety of traditional and found materials, and learn new techniques, such as using jump rings and working with resin, wire, and found materials. Experiment with combining different styles to create an original composition for your jewelry piece.
