HCCC Curators

Take a break with HCCC, and join us for Craft Chats, a new series of short lunchtime conversations with our curators. From wherever you are, we invite you to tune into our Facebook Live page to explore themes and works from our current exhibitions. Ask questions via the Facebook chat function, and learn more about the exhibiting artists. This brief deep dive will leave you feeling inspired and ready to continue your day!

This month, join HCCC Curator Kathryn Hall for a tour of the fall exhibition, “Breaking Tradition: Contemporary Approaches to the Decorative Arts.” Learn about the history of the decorative arts and how artists Sophie Glenn, Beth Lipman, and Steven Young Lee challenge the dominant cultural narratives of their art form. Following the exhibition tour, the audience is invited to participate in a live Q & A with Kathryn.
