Take a break with HCCC, and join us for Craft Chats, a new series of short lunchtime conversations with our curators. From wherever you are, we invite you to tune into our Facebook Live page to explore themes and works from our current exhibitions. Ask questions via the Facebook chat function, and learn more about the exhibiting artists. This brief deep dive will leave you feeling inspired and ready to continue your day!

For the first program, HCCC Curator Kathryn Hall will discuss the state of blacksmithing today, with an inside look at the various themes of “Meta-Formation: New Connections in Contemporary Blacksmithing.” Explore the history of the field, different metalworking techniques, and the ways in which blacksmithing is vital blacksmithing for our future. Following the exhibition tour, the audience is invited to participate in a live Q & A with Kathryn.
