Join HCCC for a talk by current resident Hai-Wen Lin (fiber), who will discuss their kite-making practice, which borrows from the languages of garment construction and pattern-making as a sculptural means of understanding how to free, fly, and extend the body, placing it in conversation with the sun, wind, and sky. After the talk, join Hai-Wen and other current residents, Sarah Knight and Robert Hodge, for open studio visits before they all wrap-up their residencies this month.

The artist talk portion of the event will be held in person as well as streamed on our Facebook Live page promptly at 3:00 PM.
