Join HCCC for Craft Social, a night of making and exploring contemporary craft over conversation and refreshments.
Did Valentine’s Day catch you by surprise this year? Want to avoid the crowds at restaurants on February 14th? Join HCCC for “Procrastinator’s Valentine’s Day” at this month’s Craft Social. Learn how to make a whimsical pop-up Valentine, and discover the history of Valentine’s Day cards from Houston-based writer Liana Silva. Liana will also assist you with your most difficult romantic quandaries and offer witty insights and humorous advice about a variety of relationship issues. (This will not be your typical “Dear Abby”-style advice!)
Don’t leave empty handed—emboss a copper pendant or key chain with initials or a personalized message to give to your special someone or keep for yourself!
About Liana Silva
Liana Silva is a writer, editor, and high-school teacher. She considers herself a New Yorker by birth, Puerto Rican by circumstance, and Houstonian by fate. Her current project, always on her mind, is a collection of personal essays about postcards and home. Read more about Liana here.
