In honor of its most popular and longest running exhibition series, CraftTexas, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft hosts CraftTexas Roundup, an indoor/outdoor fundraiser celebrating Texas craft and honorees, Michelle and Frank Hevrdejs.

Guests to this special event will get an in-depth look at the newly opened CraftTexas 2016, a juried exhibition of the finest contemporary craft being made in the state.  The evening will also feature craft spectacles by local artists, including a raku ceramics firing by Jeff Forster and Terry Hagiwara, and a bronze pour by David Medina. (Please note: in the event of heavy rain, these activities may be cancelled.)

Guests will enjoy zesty BBQ from El Burro & the Bull, cool cocktails, and the opportunity to bid on fabulous items in the silent auction.  Each reservation includes two raffle tickets that can be used to win one of several special prizes.  (Additional tickets can be purchased as well.) The theme is totally Texas, with guests encouraged to wear their rodeo finest. All proceeds benefit HCCC.
