Shop a curated selection of Asher-exclusive works celebrating the Bayou City. In conjunction with the exhibition, Clutch City Craft, Asher: Off the Wall is featuring jewelry by exhibiting artist Alam Lalani (pictured); custom Space City–inspired pieces by Morgan Hill; prints, pins, and postcards by Houston-based illustrator Josh Ryan; and new pony shoes by Marfa artist Cody Barber, powder-coated in colors that tip their hat to Houston.

Located in the lobby and open during HCCC’s public hours (10 AM – 5 PM, Tuesday – Saturday), Asher: Off the Wall offers visitors a unique and curated selection of jewelry, wearables, books, decor, and handcrafted objects. Select items from the current exhibitions and resident artists are also for sale in HCCC’s galleries and studios. A portion of all proceeds supports working craft artists from Houston and beyond.

HCCC Members receive a 10% discount on all retail, exhibition and studio sales. (Some exclusions apply.)

Clutch City Craft examines the craft traditions and material cultures that have shaped Houston into one of the nation’s most formidable centers of making. The show features a wide spectrum of making practices, from the artists behind century-old, mosaic street signs to cowboy boot makers and fiber artists who design space suits and preserve the woven interiors of NASA mission control.
