Join local artist and bookmaker Lee Steiner to explore the craft of bookbinding in this beginner-level workshop! Participants will learn how to make a book by folding and sewing paper together with linen waxed thread using a long-stitch technique. This method can be combined with various paper types and sizes to create sketchbooks, notebooks, and journals. Participants are welcome to bring their own special paper for the cover, and will leave with a completed and customized book!

Note:  No experience is necessary. Supplies will be provided. The workshop takes place in person and inside the HCCC building. Space is limited to 16 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
