HCCC is honored to partner with Steinbeisser—the visionary, Amsterdam-based, experimental gastronomy studio—to present a landmark culinary and craft experience celebrating HCCC’s 25th anniversary!
The first event of its kind in Texas, the Silver Anniversary Dinner pairs Michelin-starred chefs with acclaimed craft artists to create an immersive dining experience grounded in material innovation and the handmade. Following Steinbeisser’s renowned format, the evening’s food and drinks are entirely plant based, seasonal, and sourced from local organic and biodynamic farmers.
HCCC Curator Sarah Darro has chosen a handful of artists from the U.S. and beyond to create unique cutlery, glassware, and servingware that celebrate experimentation and offer guests new ways to enjoy food. On exhibition this fall, all tableware will be available for purchase, offering guests the rare opportunity to take home a piece of this exceptional collaboration and fundraising event.
The dinner will take place in the main gallery, in the midst of the fall exhibition, A Material Inheritance, featuring work by contemporary silversmiths and jewelers. All guests will be seated together at one long table to enjoy an unforgettable, communal dining experience.
