Join HCCC’s Tarina Frank to learn the basics of melt-and-pour soap while experimenting with bright colors and embedded shapes. Watch a live Zoom demonstration, and find inspiration from a variety of samples before you create your own recipe. Using a materials kit that can be picked up before the workshop, select a color and fragrance to add to a soap base, and play with endless possibilities of layering and embedding brightly colored soap shapes. Mix and match essential oils to create your own smell bouquet to pair with your uniquely designed soap.

No experience necessary. Participants will be provided with a materials kit, including two molds, three color choices, and three different essential oils to create approximately two lbs. of soap.  The kit will be available for pick up at HCCC the week before the workshop or can be mailed for an additional cost. Please note that some materials, such as glass jars and a candy thermometer, are not provided (see list of materials not included in kit below).
