Sponsorship

Sponsorship

Supporting the arts sends a powerful message to your network about commitment to community and creativity. Sponsorship helps promote your brand, business, or personal interest while supporting vibrant educational programs that enliven Houston, educate children, and put craft techniques and materials in the public eye.

To learn more about becoming a sponsor, please contact Leila Cartier at lcartier@crafthouston.org or 713-529-4848 x103.

Opportunities

Opportunities vary from year to year and include underwriting for exhibitions, individual artist residencies, and special events. Sponsors enjoy a promotional collaboration in front of our national network, a space for employees to become engaged, and many other VIP benefits.

We offer several sponsorship starter benefits to accommodate a range of budgets targeted between $1,000 and $20,000 and are open to discussing packages tailored to your objectives.

$1,000 – Brand visibility online at CraftHouston.org

$5,000 – Listed on exhibition collateral such as signage and printed materials

$10,000 – Press coverage plus memberships with benefits for employees for one year

$15,000 – Podium time during receptions and programming

$20,000+ – VIP experiences such as tours, team-building workshops, and private events

HCCC educational programming highlights craft as interdisciplinary. Natural dyeing educates guests about the environment, botany, and chemistry while sewing a quilt square connects students with color and texture as well as geometry and culture.

HCCC's Artist Residency Program

The Artist Residency Program is designed to offer time and space for craft artists to focus on their creative work and interact with the public. The program supports emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all craft media, including but not limited to clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood and mixed media.

Event Underwriting

Event-specific gifts help HCCC reach fundraising goals that support arts education in our community.  Unique corporate-identity partnerships build visibility and client relationships around a choice of family-focused or special events.

The annual Hands-on Houston Family Festival is a super-sized version of our monthly Hands-on Houston events.  Attracting an audience of more than 500 visitors of all ages, this free community celebration takes place the first Saturday of November and includes craft activities, artist demos, entertainment, food and beverages.

Our premiere fundraising event, the annual Crafting a Legacy Spring Luncheon, honors philanthropic members of our cultural community and draws a crowd of 250+ high-profile attendees from the Houston area and beyond.  Tables of 10 are available from $2,000 to $25,000.  Click here to see photos from the 2023 Spring Luncheon.
